Katerina Ierodiakonou is Professor of Ancient Philosophy. She has published extensively on ancient and Byzantine philosophy, especially in the areas of epistemology and logic. She currently works on a monograph about ancient theories of colour (CUP), as well as on an edition, translation and commentary of Theophrastus’ De sensibus (Brill) and of Michael Psellos’ paraphrase of Aristotle’s De interpretatione (De Gruyter). She is responsible for two research programmes: A Sourcebook of Byzantine Philosophy (2020-2023 ELIDEK), and Theories of Cognition in the Aristotelian Commentators (2018-2022 Fonds National Suisse de la Recherche Scientifique).
